Through sharing the holistic and creative sacred textiles from Bhutan, we reconnect others with true beauty and happiness. Through experiencing a regenerative garment we learn to live a regenerative lifestyle in harmony with ourselves, communities, and Mother Earth.
AWEAR Couture is the first non-profit supported high couture fashion brand in the world. It is initiated by her Royal Majesty Queen Mother Ashi Tseyring Pem Wangchuck of Kingdom of Bhutan and the philanthropist and Regenerative designer Jamyang Dolma.
AWEAR Couture regenerative fashion arises from Bhutanese textiles, handwoven in a living sacred tradition. The best weavers of Bhutan honor us with their transcendent silk fabrics, infused with the healing power of nature prayerfully embodied in the placement of each thread. Truly unique, each garment carries the highest aspirations of self-realization through age-old Himalayan spiritual practice. These precious fabrics are then sown into designs expertly hand stitched and lined with wild silk, cotton, or linen. Through this process of design, production, weaving, and sewing into finished pieces, we are proud to offer you timeless regenerative clothing.

Each design is based on analysis of the client’s energy chart which leads to choosing the right fabric to balance and regenerate client’s life force, which brings overall wellbeing the the client.
Fabric selection and Weaving
All of the materials used to make the clothes, starting with the plants used to make the fabric and dyes, come from villages of the Himalayan region. The fabrics are all hand woven by weavers who practice ancient and sacred weaving traditions. Into each piece of cloth is conscientiously woven the traditional songs and prayers honoring the living spirit of all things. Each pattern has profound cultural significance related to the natural world. The colors reflect the Himalayan spiritual world, enhancing life energy.
Harmony alignment
This process mirrors age-old understanding of nature’s own regeneration systems and the inner regeneration of humans. The overall elements will be aligned into this uniquely designed garment to harmonize the client’s wellbeing. Each person has a unique energy profile and their energy movement is impacted by the change of seasons, moon phases, and the movement of the planets. Color is the most direct way to impact human energy. Color instantly impacts people’s mental state and has long-term effects on health. The fabric is full of healing energy from the thousands of hours of mindful work filled with chanting and singing.
