Message from our founder 

My understanding of fashion and design comes from continual exploration of the world and the meaning of life, and it has become a huge and lasting driving force for my creations. The pursuit of the meaning and spirits of life has made me who I am. To me, “to create” is “to heal”. Healing is a process to reach enlightenment. It is always more important to enjoy the process of creating than to achieve certain goals. The process of creating AWEAR Couture is a co-creating process with my team and my clients from past to future. It is a transformative journey from “Having” to “Being”. 

I call myself a happy designer and a regenerative designer. The foundation for happiness is harmony in body, mind and soul. And the foundation for harmony is the unity of heaven and man. I believe that a designer should design based on the laws of nature and understanding of what nourishes human beings. Through providing the right design for clients to guide the clients back to harmony of their body, mind and soul, which is the foundation of one’s wellbeing.

Over the last 20 years of study and practice I have developed a theory of the art of regenerative living that goes beyond fashion to every aspect of our lifestyles. My ultimate goal is to use fashion to help my clients achieve a complete regenerative life, which will bring my clients a higher level of physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing and help them better achieve their life’s purpose.

I have traveled throughout the Himalayas for many years to preserve the culture and discover the sacred music and fabrics. During my last 8 years traveling, working and living in Bhutan, I have been inspired and touched very deeply by the weavers and their magnificent sacred and artistic work. The weavers are not only the artists and income generators of the family, they are healers with colors of life. 

AWEAR Couture’s line is specially developed using Himalayan fabrics I have personally curated. As a regenerative designer, I am available to study my clients’ chart and how they are impacted by the rhythm of the universe’s energy changes. In this way through AWEAR Couture I can synchronize my clients’ inner energy rhythms with the rhythms of the Earth and the universe.
